Job Positions at Speed Street Collision Center

Lead Painter

Responsible for masking, prepping and painting done here at the shop with the goal and mind-set to refinish all assigned vehicles to it’s original pre-accident condition.  It requires manual dexterity, strength, endurance, flexibility and the ability to see details at close range. Vehicle painting is a highly specialized job requiring practice and skill. 

Collision Repair Technician

Responsible for repair damage to the exterior and non-moving parts and restores vehicles after minor or major collisions.  A body tech should possess the necessary skills to perform tasks such as metal repairs, frame pulling, R&I, repair and replace. A drive to be an industry leader and innovator in metal straightening, plastic repair, structural repair and welding.   

Disassembly and Assembly Technician

 Responsible for removal of all parts of a vehicle that are required to be removed in order to start repairs. They will be proficient and familiar with all parts of the vehicle and be able to identify them when we are ready to create a damage analysis. 


Responsible for ordering parts required for vehicle repairs. Experience and knowledge of automotive parts preferred. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have good personal and computer skills.


They must have some experience in car detailing and shop upkeep. They must have the desire to expand their knowledge well beyond the basics that are required for this position. 

Maintenance Technician

Responsible for conducting the general upkeep and maintenance of our facility, equipment and property structures.  Maintain the facilities and common areas in the best possible condition. 


 Responsible for prepping out all parts for the paint shop. They should be proficient in masking up vehicles and preparing them for the painter. They must also know how to mix and tint colors and be familiar with the PPG line of paint.
